“Why do we have to go out?” Rosie watched from the bed as Decker rifled in a duffle bag she didn’t even know he’d brought to her house. He pulled out a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. She had to admit, there was nothing else she’d rather see him wearing. Though, she could well imagine him cleaning up really nice and being mouthwatering in a suit and tie. “Where did you get the duffle?”

“From the truck. I always carry it with me in the back. Never know when you might need a change of clothes.”

Okay well, that made sense. He unfolded and shook out the jeans, then stepped into them, one foot and leg at a time. He zipped them up but left the button undone. Commando. God, she loved that. Nothing between her and his magnificent cock but worn denim. Maybe she could convince him they should stay in instead of going out.

She rolled to her knees and crawled toward him. He pulled his shirt on over his head and simply watched her with one eyebrow raised in question. “Rosie?”

“Why do we have to go out?” she asked again, this time in her best sensual, soft, come-hither voice.

She reached for him, but he took a step back. She sat up on her knees and scowled.

He stepped close again and tweaked a nipple through her bra. “Because I’m hungry.”

“I can fix you anything you want.”

“I know you can, but I don’t want you to fix it. I want you to order it, let someone else fix it and then serve you.”

Rosie fidgeted. That wasn’t a good idea. She wasn’t good with things like that. She rarely ever went out to eat anywhere, even when she went to Atlanta. She often took a cooler of food she cooked and packed herself. “I don’t know, Decker. I don’t think we should go.”

“Tough.” He turned away from her and opened the same drawer in her dresser she’d gotten her bra and skirt out of.

“What are you doing?”

“You said there was a matching G-string, yes?”

“Oh. Yeah. It should be in there somewhere.”

Just as the words passed through her lips, he held it up. He walked over, kissed her on the nose, and dropped the panties in her lap. “We’re going.”

Dammit. She knew that look. That tone. He’d used it on her in the diner the other morning. He’d used it during dinner before he left. He’d used it in the clearing just before he’d had enough of her brattiness.

She scooted off the bed and pulled the scrap of lace up her legs. She sort of hated G-strings, thongs and the like. At the same time, she sort of liked the naughtiness of them. And they were naughty. Anything that left the ass bare was naughty.

“Okay, well, maybe we could go somewhere other than the diner.”

“Nice try, but nothing else is open this late. No, I think the diner is the perfect place to go. Casual, really good food. Everything you could want in a place to eat.
